Mask Makers Club
Last March I said to hubby, “I think I’ll make a few masks for the family…” Little did I know that it would actually kickstart my small business! I quickly learnt the ropes of selling online and I have been successful in making and selling masks that I developed a template for!
My masks have proven to be popular, and I am proud to say that I am seeing them on faces around our town regularly. Although I am proud to be a part of an initiative that helps reduce the spread of COVID, I still cannot believe that this pandemic has gone on this long.
I will continue to make masks, for those who want them. I know the demand has reduced, but now that the borders are opening, more people are wanting masks to travel interstate and overseas.
I want to reach out and thank all those people who have supported me in my mask making. My husband (Jigsaw operator, template extraordinaire), my beautiful daughter (the best packing assistant ever!), my gorgeous son (who is extremely patient!), my Mum, (delivery driver, mentor & assistant seamstress), my neighbour (who has offered up hours of help, packing, threading elastic and nose wires for as little as a beer or two and a good chinwag); my postie (for taking my orders back to the post office) and to all those who have put in a good word for me, passed on my details and have followed me on Instagram and Facebook, I am in debt to you all. Thank you for masking up and reducing the spread. Fingers crossed 2022 tells a different story.
Stay safe and wishing you all a stress free, healthy end to 2021. Enjoy time with loved ones and be happy.
